 Final Fantasy XIII Demo Will Last More than Two Hours |

PlayStation Universe reports that Famitsu magazine reports that the PS3-exclusive Final Fantasy XIII demo will clock in at more than two hours, which is longer than the CGI movie bundled with it, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. The bundle releases March 2009.
The demo will be on a separate disc (ah ha! Blu-Ray has its limitations too ya know!!!!) The demo will be based on the opening to the game, naturally. Wouldn't be smart to spoilerize everything. Two other tidbits, I'll fess up and say I have no clue what these mean so I'll just quote verbatim: "One of the female characters, refered to as 'Pigtails Girl', has been through some tough times." And "Mr. 33CM's real name is based off of weather as well."

does anyone know what the game is called. i heard that it would be released under psp i think and that its a fighting game that you can play with some of the final fantasy characters even from classic ff. something sorta like Ehergeiz. << which is coool

Trying To Deliver Final Fantasy XIII "In A Fresh State" Worldwide |

In the West, Final Fantasy XIII is coming to the Xbox 360 and the PS3. That means extra work for Square Enix. But that doesn't get company exec Shinji Hashimoto down. Dude is pumped about this multi-platform release. Hashimoto tells UK magazine Play:
Obviously, we announced the title for both the PS3 and 360, so in that sense we’re very excited to be able to appeal to a new user base ans to fans that are users of both PS3 and 360.
...Another thing I’m excited about it that it’s traditionally taken about a year for localization to take place, so the Japanese version can reach audiences around the world. But with this titles we’re focused on decreasing that time gap. That means, right now, we’re not only involved in creating and developing, but also working hard to deliver the title in a fresh state to everyone in the world.
Sounds like Square Enix is doing its best to close the gap that's existed for its Japanese and Western customers. Good for them.

Play - E3 Kitase & Hashimoto Q&A + Update |

The latest Play UK Magazine has graced us with a E3 08 Q&A interview, with Corporate Executive Shinji Hashimoto & Producer Yoshinori Kitase.
The interview does not give us much more insight into FFXIII, as to be expected, but does give us a nice clean evaluation on some matters.
Play have also updated their preview section on FFXIII since E3 08.
